Jake's Webbed Journal
My name is Jake and I grew up in Connecticut. I live in New York City now and I write and make videos for the internet. I like cookies, blankets and running. I’m 23.

I’m not trying to brag, but these comments on my latest sponsored article from CH make me feel really good. I used to hate getting sponsored article assignments, but I think I’m actually starting to like the challenge they bring to the table.

lolliblog:
We moved to a farmhouse out in the country when Jake was three. He really missed living in a neighborhood. This became very clear to me one early spring morning when I saw Jake, making some new friends. Literally. This shot was taken shortly before they melted. If you look carefully, you can see Jake is wearing an original Bartman T-shirt and some pretty sweet Moon Boots.
I love following my mom’s blog. Although this may look like a sad scene it’s one of my best childhood memories. And my mom is wrong, I never missed living in a neighborhood.

It’s not every day you get to shoot a pilot at work. Whether or not anything happens, it was so much fun to do. If the show were to get picked up, I really want to call it “Fuck you Mallory Chapman You Should Have Dated Me In 8th Grade.”

Go The Internet!

One of my friends from home, Lauren, started a tumblr. I’m pretty excited for two reasons. Number one being that I find her interesting and funny. Number two is that she’s my first non-NY friend to start blogging.

I love tumblr, it’s helping me connect with my coworkers, my family, strangers, and now my old friends from home.

Jake and Amir, now doing birthdays!

BTW, this is posted on a facebook wall, so it needs to be read bottom to top.

I de-pooped this pooping pig key-chain I got over the summer. Now it’s even more gross.

Family Blog Time!

I’m really excited that my mom started a tumblr. She’s an awesome writer and I think I’m going to really enjoy her posts complaining about how annoying my little brother is.

Two of my triplet sisters started tumblrs too! Eliza first, then Sarah. Following my family’s blogs is such a great way to keep up with what people are doing. We only get to talk every few days, and following their tumblrs I’m finding out stuff as it happens, not in a recap a few days later. It’s awesome.

Don’t worry, Mom, I’ll still call you.

PS, What are you waiting for Hannah, Rachael, Micah, Nelly and Dad?
