“Simple Things” by Mr. Hyunh
“Killer Tofu”, “I Need More Allowance” and “Bangin’ On a Trashcan” get a lot of talk about greatest songs from Nickelodeon ever… but this is still my favorite. Hey Arnold! rocked and Mr. Hyunh had more heart than any other inner city cook I’ve ever met. This also happens to be the first song I ever downloaded with good ol’ Kazaa back in the day.
Interesting note about this episode… Mr. Hyunh’s singing voice is country star Randy Travis who also voices fictional country star Travis Randy in the same episode. Wrap your mind around that.
Mike’s tumblr is awesome.
But that’s not actually totally true… Though we did win, it was by a very narrow margin. My teammate Dave Trawin and I had the chance to clinch the victory- a feat we accomplished against Gawker, but we couldn’t pull it out. A CH team comprised of Will Schneider and Jeff Rosenberg won the game for CollegeHumor in overtime.
Despite the anxiety of the tournament being so close this was by far my favorite one yet. The guys that came from Digg were really cool.
*I know this post is coming almost a full week after the game. My apologies, it’s been a crazy week. Much more news I haven’t posted yet to come!
I think it’d be really funny to dress in tattered dirty clothes and then run out of a forest to a couple of people and demand, “What year is this!?”
When they answer, “2008.” You look away and mumble “My God.” Then run back into the woods.
Today CollegeHumor hosts it’s second beer pong match. This time we’re playing Digg. After crushing Gawker last time we feel confident. But I still feel slightly nervous, because Digg is one of my favorite sites, but mostly, I want to make a post titled “CollegeHumor Buries Digg.”
We’ll still be using these balls.
